One morning at sunrise Geina was out with her gold detector trying to find some valuable goods. The location that she is in, is known to have lots of old roman coins. The day was coming to an end and all she had found were old bullets. She was just about to pack up when ‘beeeeeeep’ she knew it was something big. It was an old rusty tin. She thought it was a tin of coins but when she lifted the lid there were just bullets. She dug deep and at the bottom of the tin were 5 old coins.

A deadly disease has broken out in Australia and has taken many lives. First you break out into a rash and then you then you start coughing up blood. All of the world’s scientists do not have a clue what the disease is. Meetings were held across the country to find an answer to this deadly disease. The media advises everybody to stay inside as this virus is highly contagious. The disease is spreading worldwide, and some people say that the world is coming to an end, where others claim it is just a disease and we will find a cure. But one scientist claims he has found a cure…..

Posters were all around town saying ‘’1995 Christmas decoration competition’’, $200 up for grabs. My next door neighbours the ‘Jefriksons’ always won. But it was our year to win. There were small pine trees all around our house, so Mum and I decorated the pine trees with baubles, while Dad and Bella ‘my sister’ set the lights up. It was looking great. The night had come and I was so excited. It was decision time the judge read the house numbers, ’’3rd 18, and 2nd 9 ‘’but the winner is’’, I clinch my fist and hope for the best ‘’number’’…..

I wake up I am on the floor again, the ground is shaking beneath me. This has been happening to me for weeks now. My mum and dad come rushing into my room to see if I am alright, ‘I am fine’ I say ‘what is it dad?’ ‘I am not sure’ says dad, normally he knows everything. We go outside everyone is screaming and running everywhere, one person is running to us, dad grabs him and asks him what it is, ‘ it is a giant worm pushing through the earth and it is going to kill us all’ reply’s the panicking man.
