On Monday 6th May we arrived at camp, we took a couple of stops along the 4 hour drive. The first stop was at a small little town for recess we did not do much at the town, the second stop was at the Otway fly walk, we had our lunch and then went on the tree top walk which reached heights of 47 meters, it was so cool. When we arrived at camp we got our cabin sorted and had a hot chocolate while Matt the leader of the camp told us the basic rules. We then got to go outside and have free time, me and my friends played gang up in the big bush. Shipwreck Sales the group I was in had to set up dinner, we had spaghetti and apple crumble for desert. After dinner we had to do bush dancing, I was with Katherine then I had to go with Georgia.
On Tuesday 7th May we did lots of activates such as canoeing, farming where we fed the pigs, cows, alpacas and the sheep my favourite bit was when the little baby calf sucked my hand it felt so cool. We also did the obstacle course where I was awarded muddiest person it was so fun, we then played this game where there were herbivores, carnivores, diseases and the hunters, here’s how the game works, the herbivores got 7 lives the carnivores got 5 lives the diseases got 0 lives and the hunters got 0 lives, the herbivores can only kill the hunter but the carnivores, diseases and hunters can kill the herbivores, the carnivores can kill the herbivores and hunters but the diseases and hunters can kill the carnivores, diseases they can kill everyone and they can only be killed by the hunters, and finally the hunters they can kill everyone and everyone can kill them. The point of the game was to get the most lives as you could. It was so much fun I was the disease and I got the most lives overall. We had pie for dinner and sticky date pudding for desert, we then went on the night walk and had the trivia night.
On Wednesday 8th May we went to the twelve apostles but I could only see 8 it was still so amazing. Then we went to Lochard Gorge where we learnt an amazing story about Tom and Eva who survived the Lochard shipwreck. We went to an awesome park for Lunch, at the park there were 2 big flying foxes and a really cool swing, we had a ball. After being at the park we went to the Maritime museum at Flagstaff hill. At the Maritime museum we did a mini amazing race around the fake olden day town. In the mini amazing race we had to answer a whole lot of questions. After the mini race we put our feet into the shoes of the children who went to school in the olden days and had a little class. When we arrived back at camp we had a little bit of free time and then had dinner. After dinner we had tabloud sports.
